Shared bathroom facilities could pose challenges for privacy and upkeep!!! The room lacked adequate mirror and lighting which made getting ready frustrating. The outdated furniture needs refreshing to improve the overall ambiance!!!

The breakfast was like a gourmet feast I hadn’t expected, complete with fresh fruits, homemade jams, and a perfect full Scottish breakfast. The room was not just cozy but felt personalized with little surprises like that decanter of sherry, which made the stay feel special.

Ruth was such a warm and welcoming host, providing a lovely room with fresh flowers, a decanter of sherry, and a delightful array of teas and complimentary chocolates. Breakfast was superb, featuring a wonderful full Scottish breakfast alongside various fruits and cereals and served in a cozy dining room.

Just a fitting option for a short weekend trip in Moffat with excellent value for money. The bed was super comfy, making it easy to relax after a day of exploring. Parking may be tight, so prepare for on-street options.

Had a blast with friends at this cozy spot! We explored the local attractions, especially the Dumfries and County Golf Club and nearby nature trails. Ruth's hearty breakfast kept us fueled for our adventures, and the warm vibe made it feel like a home away from home.
